Merced, CA. June of 1964 This photo was taken by the Merced Sun Star and published for our opening. Standing in front of the 1956 Ford pickup from the left is Allen, Leonard Rich, Sr. and Vern Williams. In front of the 1958 Ford tow truck, are Leonard Rich, Jr. and Jerry Fagnani. This Ford tow truck was driven to California, from Ambridge, Pa., by Leonard Rich, Jr.

Repair Facility 1960's Rich's Auto Body Inc. was founded in June of 1964,in June of 2010 we will be commencing our 47th year in business in Merced Ca. Leonard Rich Jr. worked at his Father's shop in Ambridge Pa.from 1955 until 1962 before he moved to California. This photo was taken in the late 1960's.The older building to the rear of the newer building is where it all started.The front building was built in 1966 and was constructed by Vic Martinelli it was the first phase of the repair facility that we now occupy.

1978 Repair Facility In 1978, the first addition of 12,500 sq feet of repair facility was added.

1994 In 1994 we completed the second phase of our expansion. A second building of 12,500 sq feet was added to accomodate new frame equipment and to allow for more working area.

June of 2003 This photo was taken on June of 2003. We have over 50,000 square feet of service area including a showroom for collector vehicles that have been restored by Rich's Auto Body, Inc. You are welcome to tour our facility before you decide to have your vehicle repaired.
